Environmental Policy

Next Event is committed to good environmental management practice and the prevention of pollution in connection with carrying out its own business operations. We make an overall continuous improvement to the principle of pollution prevention.

Next Event will ensure personnel are fully briefed to facilitate in the successful application of this policy.

Impacts:

Next Event has identified the environmental aspects and associated impacts related to its activities and services. Our most significant impacts on the environment result from:

• The amount of electricity we use.
• The amount of gas we use.
• The amount of water we use.
• The amount of waste materials we dispose of.
• The amount of recycled material we dispose of.
• Use of suppliers (hotels/venues) with environmental responsibility.

Objectives and Targets

The following objectives have been created to improve the companys performance against each of the impacts mentioned above. Detailed targets have been established to directly support the achievement of each objective. 

• Reduce electricity consumption by 5% compared to last years figures.
• Reduce gas consumption by 5% compared to last years figures.
• Reduce water consumption by 5% compared to last years figures.
• Reducing the amount of waste we send to landfill by 7% compared to last years figures.
• Increase waste recycled by 10% compared to last years figures.
• Increase the number of environmental policies collected from suppliers (hotels and venues) on our database by 20% in the next year.

Performance Indicators
